Terms of Use
Terms of Use
These Terms govern the use of Invoices for iPhone and related support services.
These Terms are an agreement between you and BitForge Pte. Ltd. (“BitForge,” “we,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using Invoices, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Apple license terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Apple license and these Terms
Invoices is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom App Store license is displayed for the app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the download and license. These Terms supplement that agreement for BitForge's app features and services. Mandatory law and applicable Apple terms control if they conflict with these Terms.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live. If you use Invoices for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. You are responsible for protecting your device and account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
License and permitted use
Subject to these Terms and the Apple license, BitForge grants you a limited, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Invoices on supported Apple devices. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse engineer, bypass access or subscription controls, interfere with security, misuse service limits, or use the app to violate law or another person's rights, except where a restriction is prohibited by law.
Your documents and responsibilities
You retain ownership of invoices, estimates, client information, photos, signatures, stamps, payment records, notes, business settings, payment links, and files you create or provide. You give BitForge and its service providers only the limited permission needed to host, transmit, analyze, export, or otherwise process content when you request a feature.
You are responsible for having authority to use personal and business information, for the accuracy and legality of your documents, tax treatment, numbering, payment instructions, payment-link URLs, and record retention, and for obtaining any recipient or third-party consent required by law. Do not create or share unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or harmful content.
No professional advice
Invoices is a document and workflow tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, bookkeeping, compliance, or financial advice. Templates, calculations, guides, and AI output are general tools and may not meet requirements in your jurisdiction or industry. Consult a qualified professional when needed.
AI Import
If you choose AI Import and confirm the disclosure, the selected PDF or image is sent through BitForge's backend to OpenAI to propose invoice or estimate fields. You must have authority to process the document and should avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Review every party, date, tax, currency, line item, amount, and document type before saving or sharing. Invoices does not automatically approve, save, send, or make legally significant decisions from AI output. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and provider retention.
Shared Invoice, exports, and delivery
Shared Invoice provides private access to a frozen PDF revision for the account participant you select. Export and share actions hand a document to iOS or a provider you choose. A successful handoff, “sent” state, or Shared Invoice activity is not a legal read receipt, proof of delivery, acceptance, or payment guarantee. You are responsible for choosing the correct recipient, revoking access when appropriate, and keeping any external copy secure.
Payment links and QR codes
Invoices can place manual payment instructions and a provider-neutral payment-link QR code on a PDF. Invoices does not process card or bank payments, create payment intents, hold funds, guarantee collection, or automatically reconcile payment-provider status. You are responsible for the safety, accuracy, legality, and provider terms of any link or instructions you add.
Subscriptions and purchases
Pro and Premium AI features may require an auto-renewing subscription or another in-app purchase. Apple processes payment through your App Store account and displays the current product, price, billing period, trial or introductory offer, taxes, and renewal terms before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple account settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Deleting the app or your Invoices account does not cancel a subscription. Apple controls billing and refund decisions under its rules and applicable law.
Third-party services
Features may depend on Apple, iCloud, Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, AppTriage, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, website hosting, or another destination you choose. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. BitForge is not responsible for a third-party account, service interruption, policy, or content outside its reasonable control.
Privacy, deletion, and records
The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and how to submit a request. Account deletion removes the supported backend account and server-side user records and signs you out, but does not automatically erase local device data, Apple CloudKit data, external exports, App Store purchase history, or limited entitlement records used for restoration. You remain responsible for business-record retention duties that apply to you.
Intellectual property and feedback
Invoices, its software, design, documentation, templates as a product system, trademarks, and other BitForge materials are owned by BitForge or its licensors and protected by law. If you send voluntary feedback, you allow BitForge to use it without restriction or payment, but this does not transfer ownership of your invoices or other business content.
Availability, suspension, and termination
We may maintain, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for security, law, provider changes, abuse prevention, or product operation. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk, or misuse of service limits. You may stop using the app at any time; obligations that by their nature should survive will continue.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invoices is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of a third-party service, successful delivery or collection, or suitability for every jurisdiction, tax system, or business use case.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BitForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of Invoices. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, providers, or law changes. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. If a material change requires consent, it will not apply until that consent is obtained.
Governing law
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction. You keep any mandatory consumer protections and rights to use another court or dispute process that apply where you live.
